BASUDEB PATHAGAR is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit making social service organization. Since its inception it has been endeavouring to serve the poor and downtrodden of the society with people’s active participation. With a need-salient and participatory approach it aims to prepare the human resources, as an active agent for developmental actions.
The organization is managed by a seven member Governing Body with the Secretary being the Chief Functionary.
BASUDEB PATHAGAR is gradually diversifying to take initiative on various fields being influenced by the issues and needs of the community it serves, but two vulnerable sub population segments — women & children, Senior Citizens, Persons with Disabilities — remain as its prime focus.
